Meta Platforms has announced a major shift: starting December 16, 2025, it will begin using Meta AI chats to personalize users’ feeds and ads across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. This development marks a turning point in how conversational AI data is leveraged for advertising, a move that could redefine both user experiences and the business models of AI chat platforms like Chatboq.
According to TechCrunch, more than 1 billion people use Meta AI every month, making this rollout one of the largest experiments in chat-based personalization ever attempted.
